Hair You will need…. Hair band, strong enough to hold hair up Hair grips (Kirby grips and bun grips) Hair net (same colour as hair) Strong hairspray For the exam hair should be a neat bun. To do this secure hair in a high-ish pony tail. Use lots of hair spray to make sure there are no ‘wispy bits’ of hair, especially around the face. Then take the pony tail, and wrap it tightly around the hair band using grips (you can use both Kirby grips and bun grips) to keep the hair in place. Place a hair net around the bun and grip in place too. Hair spray to finish. Please don’t put anything else around the bun. It is worth practising a bun a few times to get used to doing it.

Post Examinations
Hopefully you will have been successful in passing the examination, which means you move 'up' a grade and begin to work towards that examination. Obviously there will be shows and other performances too and free work is incorporated into lessons too so its not just all exam work!
Results can take up to 4/6 weeks to come through. As soon as Miss Lorraine finds out the results she will bring them to the next lesson and inform the children and parents. The report forms will be handed out which have comments about what the examiner liked about your work and also areas to improve on too.
Official BBO Certificates and Medals will be handed out at the Annual Presentations around October each year. |
