JOY OF BALLET

Ballet is the core foundation for all other dance styles. It provides flexibility, strength, technique and timing which are vital components for dance. We pride ourselves on excellent Ballet teaching, practising one of the most demanding Ballet syllabus in the UK with BBODance.

Our Principal Lorraine Day has a 100% examination pass rate with many pupils achieving Ballet Scholarships at a number of Vocational schools in London & other areas, some pupils have also progressed to train with the Royal Ballet in their Associate Scheme.

Baby Ballet

Introduce your little one to the beautiful world of Ballet, we take children from 18 mths - 4 yrs in this class.   It's a creative, imaginative, fun filled class and a great way to introduce girls and boys to the joy of dance.

Ballet (Grades)

Our core teaching for girls and boys from 3 yrs through to Adults. We are a registered BBODance School and run to their syllabus.

Pointe Work

Our Pointe classes are specifically for our advanced pupils who have attained a high grade and progressing to the latter stages of the syllabus. Pointe technique is part of the classical ballet technique where a pupil supports all of their body weight on the tips of their toes within pointe shoes. Teachers' invite pupils to Pointe Class when they have reached a certain grade and are old enough (their feet must be fully grown and strong enough to support them).

Adult Ballet

Don't worry if Ballet passed you by the first time around, at LoveBallet we run Adult classes for any age. Whether you used to dance and you want to take it up again or if you've never danced before, we have a class for you. Our adults range from their early twenties through to their early seventies.  These classes are run for the pleasure of dance, they are light-hearted and enjoyable. (We do offer our Adult pupils the opportunity to work towards an examination grading should you wish to do so).
